The Trampko Purchasing Alliance (TPA) is a non-profit association of currently 47 ship owners and ship managers controlling a fleet of 800+ vessels. The purpose is to combine the members’ purchasing volume and to create purchasing power by size for achieving the most competitive, rock bottom pricing for goods and services in the market.
Member purchasing experts form currently 10 working groups, with each group targeting one specific area of consumables or equipment or major and dominating suppliers. The resulting frame agreements with vendors are vetted by the TPA’s six men Board of Directors and finally approved.
Members enter into direct contracts with the approved vendors based on the TPA frame agreement terms & conditions. The TPA aims to achieve the best price for its members in a transparent way without hidden discounts or rebates.
